South Brisbane Accommodation Reviews
The Mirage:
Fantastic Holiday Apartments - I loved the style of the apartment. The large amount of space meant that event though there were 6 adults staying in the apartment, there was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. The balcony overlooking the pool and looking out towards the beach was lovely. Not to mention it was great value for money. Have recommended the mirage to a number of family and friends since returning home.
Emeraldene Inn & Eco-lodge:

Aegean Mooloolaba:
Great Location - These apartments are very well located, about 50m from Mooloolaba beach. The pool area is very spacious and has a good heated spa. There are lots of great value restaurants around with a sensational Thai underneath the building. The restaurants along the main esplanade have some great set menu and early-bird specials. Try Restaurant 104 which has theme nights which are good value.
Oaks Charlotte Towers :
Great Location - The location was great, short stroll to the mall and no traffic noise in room.
Condor Ocean View Apartments:
Great Location... Fantastic Views - We stayed in the 1 Bedroom Penthouse for a week just before the school holidays started - the online rate was a bargain, working out at a little over $100/night. We had fantastic views of the ocean being on the top level of the Condor and were entertained by the people bungy jumping and crowds wandering by. Condor is in a great location - close to the Chevron Renaissance shopping centre and in easy walking distance to Cavill and Orchid Avenue.
The Penthouse is fitted out with a full kitchen with all the facilities in good working order as well as washing machine and dryer - great for longer stays. There is also a separate bathroom to the ensuite in the main bedroom which is handy if you have more than 2 people staying. The bedroom is huge, almost the same size as the lounge area and the bed was very comfy. Everything was clean and comfortable. As said, you get prime views from this location and it's great just to sit out on the balcony and relax.
We used the tennis court quite a bit and also found the indoor heated pool to be pleasant. It was definitely too cold to swim in the outdoor pool/spa but Condor provided lots of deck chairs and lazy boys and the BBQ facilities are handy.
Another great thing about Condor is that you can get 2 keys so you don't always have to rely on being with your roommates all the time and the security gives you piece-of-mind, the front door is closed after 5pm and you have to swipe in to enter the front or use the lifts. Free undercover secure parking is also free of charge (1 car per Apartment I believe).
