Scalinada Apartments: Didn't Want to Leave! - This apartment suited our needs perfectly: plenty of room and great, clean facilities for the family. We liked that it was not a high rise apartment complex. The managers were very friendly. The location was great for us, 30 min (max) drive to theme parks, supermarkets close by for supplies. We didn't want to leave! Would definitely come back here when next visiting the Gold Coast.
Ocean Boulevard Apartments: Restful, Convenient and Quiet - It was all the above and close to facilities that we used regularly. Lots of walking paths, on the esplanade and at the rear around the lakes and the park, 2 mins walk to convenience stores, bakery, restaurants, surf club, etc.
Secure car parking, easy access, as my husband had recently had surgery, the lift was a necessary.
This is the second time that we have stayed at Ocean Boulevarde, & on speaking to others, they also indicated that they also were repeat visitors. Lovely views from the balcony, we could watch the shipping & fishing and pleasure boats, take your binoculars or telescope, very interesting.
The unit was serviced once a week with clean linen and cleaning etc, there were more than adequate facilities, utensils, appliances etc. Very good!!
Oaks Charlotte Towers : Optimism Challenged @ Oaks Charlotte - The Oaks Charlotte Towers is in a perfect location for inner city events and outings, great food and Brisbanes finest shopping within walking distance from the lobby. The bedrooms were a great size and both had floor to ceiling windows. The balcony size and style was FANTASTIC- large opening balconies with all glass,large opening windows and a pleasant sit in the sunshine. The plunge pool was appreciated after a day shopping in the city. Thank- you.
Queensleigh Holiday Apartments: Fantastic - The service was friendly and fantastic from the minute we arrived till the minute we left.
Apartments were bigger and nicer than what I expected for the more than reasonable price which we paid. The views were sensational. With a 2 minute walk to the beach and Surf parade with lovely restuarants, cafes and the Oasis shopping centre. Central to everything with the Gold Coast highway not even a 5 minute walk away for public transport and less than a 15 minute walk to Pacific Fair & Jupiters Casino.
This was our first real holiday in 8 years and we are already planning to return the same time next year!
