Perched on the banks of Currumbin Creek is the township of Currumbin.  A hive of activities take place in the calm waters of the Estuary.  Families flock to the water edge for BBQs and swimming in the sparkling waters, while nearby Currumbin Alley boasts loads of fun water sports like boating, sailing, kite surfing and board riding.

The famous Elephant Rock is a must see – climb to the top for incredible views of the coastline.  While your there enjoy al fresco dining on the balcony overlooking the ocean at the Currumbin Surf Club.

Another tourist attraction is Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many Australia native wildlife you can hand feed a kangaroo, get involved in a special education workshop and have your photograph taken inside a crocodiles mouth!!! Don’t worry the crocodile is only a sculpture.  Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary encourages all visitors including international travellers to indulge in this wonderful experience.
