Aside from the beaches, Tugun is also home to Flat Rock Creek, a favourite for family picnics, casual cricket games and even weddings. 

Visitors can enjoy the calm waters of the creek, ideal for swimming, and the shady nature reserve equipped with barbecue and picnic facilities. Nearby, the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary offers the ultimate wildlife experience.
