Welcome to Lake Weyba

>> An Introduction To Lake Weyba

Tucked away between the Noosa River and the sea is the secluded Lake Weyba. This large, shallow saltwater lake is a natural habitat for water birds, pelicans and crabs.

Shaded by ancient melaleuca trees, the area is a haven for native animals such as koalas, kangaroos and goannas. The calm lake is ideal for non-motorised water sports and is a terrific place for a relaxing spot of fishing.

Just a short walk away are the Noosa River shops and restaurants, while the delights of cosmopolitan Hastings Street are a few minutes' drive away.

Enjoy the secluded feel of the area best at sunset, as you recline on a deck chair, looking out over kilometres of lush National Park north to Noosa Hill and south to magnificent Mount Coolum.
