Featuring a remarkable collection of historic buildings and a rich multicultural heritage, the southern Sydney suburb of Arncliffe brims with character. Bounded by stunning bushland and waterways, the mostly residential area offers a quiet, leafy refuge that's still within easy reach of the city and the airport.

Arncliffe boasts some fine examples of Australian period architecture. The streets are lined with grand Victorian houses and Federation style buildings, as well as a number of landmark churches and mosques.

Wolli Creek Valley, just to the suburb's north, is an extremely significant natural area sprinkled with parkland, heathland and woodland forest. The banks of the Wolli Creek provide beautiful picnic spots and extensive views, while the valley itself is home to a rich variety of native wildflowers, birds, flying foxes, frogs, turtles and reptiles. Explore the numerous walking tracks and rugged sandstone escarpments, or climb Nannygoat Hill to catch breathtaking views of Sydney and its surroundings.
