>> An Introduction To Falls Creek
Falls Creek is a resort town situated between Canberra and Melbourne, about 500 kilometres from each of these major cities.
Surrounded by the Bogong High Plains and the Alpine National Park, Falls Creek offers a smorgasbord of activities in the summer, including mountain biking, fishing, horse riding, kayaking, and boating.
During winter the town comes alive with tourists who flock to this alpine retreat to ski and ride the snowy slopes of its mountainous terrain.
The official snow season runs from mid June to the beginning of October, and there are plenty of accommodation options to choose from both on and off the mountain.
