This National Science and Technology Centre features more than 200 interactive exhibits, and provides a fun educational experience that teaches kids about sustainability and protecting the environment.

The centre is positioned on the southern shore of Lake Burley Griffin, and is only minutes from the CBD and Canberra’s other attractions.

Kids will love sliding down The Giant Mushroom, a fun, bright coloured, 6 metre high adventure playground.

Situated at the Belconnen Fresh Food Markets, the top of the mushroom spans across 15.6 metres, and is a popular spot for parents and kids to relax and have a bit of fun while taking a break from shopping.

The young and young at heart will have a blast at Canberra’s one and only Capital Funland Amusements.

With games to suit all ages and skill level there is every opportunity to get involved and let off some steam.

Drive, drum, or dance your time away to funky juke box beats. Challenge an opponent to a game of pool, and don’t forget to stop for refreshments from the counter.

Bring the kids down for some old fashioned fun on the historic Merry-Go-Round at Petrie Plaza!

A favourite with children and adults, the ride has been in Canberra since 1914, and has since been restored.  

Originally imported from Germany, the Merry-Go-Round has been situated in the Petrie Plaza since 1974, and features 52 hand carved wooden houses and 2 elephants.
