Wave Lagoon
Wave Lagoon

Kids can let off steam in the Darwin Wave Pool and parents will love the safe sheltered waters, free from crocodiles and box jellyfish.

Artificial waves of up to 1.7 metres high will keep the young and young at heart entertained. The entry fee includes complimentary use of boogie boards and tubes which can be used in the lagoon to ride the waves. Try out one of the breaks including the boogies wave, parallel, break left or break right.

Personal boards and tubes are out of bounds due to health and safety laws. Alcohol and glass are not permitted in the area.

Treat the whole family to a fun and interactive experience at Aquascene and hand feed hundreds of fish that live off the Darwin Coast.

At high tide the fish come into the shallow waters to be fed. Staff will provide you with bread if you wish to feed the fish in the water, or you can watch the fish feeding from the tier seating.

Holmes Jungle Nature Park
Holmes Jungle Nature Park

The Holmes Jungle Nature Park is one of the only monsoon forests in Darwin and is an ideal place to throw down a rug and enjoy a yummy picnic lunch. There are some lovely walks to provide a relaxing day outdoors.

Enjoy the breathtaking views over the wetlands and monsoon forest including ridges and savannah woodlands.

The park is open between 7am and 6pm however depending on the weather some roads can be closed particularly during wet season (October-April) so it pays to check before leaving.
