Brisbane Bars and Pubs

>> Brisbane's best drinking spots

Plenty of bars and pubs - from the casual to the lively to the sleek and sophisticated - adorn the streets of Brisbane. The best spots to entertain yourself are definitely the Valley, New Farm and West End, but you can also find good places in South Bank, Milton and Kangaroo Point.

The CBD is curiously not so lively, but a couple of pubs such as Chill on Queen, Belgian Beer Cafe Brussels and the Irish pub O'Malleys are great places for a drink.

The city also boasts bigger establishments which are extremely popular with locals and definitely worth a visit. Often old heritage buildings renovated as modern and practical venues, the following addresses are just a sample of what Brisbane has to offer.
