Brisbane Horse Riding
Slickers Horse Riding offers great rides with combined activities to suit all levels of riders. For instance, you can experience a moonlight ride with an open fire barbecue, a half-day lunchtime ride to the Mosquito Creek Winery, or a day ride from the farm property to the Ocean View Winery for some cheese and wine tasting.
For that little extra something, try a half-day ride on the cattle property at Ocean View, with a stop for a 'billy tea' break at a beautiful rainforest waterhole. Riding on 3,500 acres, you'll discover beautiful sceneries such as undulating koala forest, grassy plains, rainforest creeks, dense bush, deep gullies, and mountainous terrain.

| Where: | To get to Slickers Riding Centre from Brisbane: travel 30km north to Petrie and then travel 5km along Dayboro Road where you turn right into Dunlop Lane. Slickers gate is just over a kilometre down Dunlop Lane, Kurwongbah. The Slickers Farm Property at Ocean View Road is a further 20km just outside Dayboro. |

Discover Brisbane's country on the back of a horse and ride over lovely undulating pastures, past mountain streams and through slopes of rainforest. Accredited instructors supervise every trail ride in a friendly and helpful manner. You will also have the opportunity to see an array of animals including working cattle dogs, calves, llamas, cockatoos and galahs.
Previous horse riding experience is not necessary.
Children must be at least 10 years old, but younger children can be catered for through pony leading in the round yard.
