David Fleay Wildlife Park

Visit a wildlife park nestled in natural bushland in the heart of Queensland's Gold Coast, where native animals are displayed in surroundings similar to their natural habitats.

Timber boardwalks meander through a fascinating world of wetlands, mangroves and crocodiles. Wander the paths through subtropical rainforest and eucalypt forest to see cassowary and platypus. Visit the Nocturnal House and see unusual native animals such as tiny gliders and bilbies foraging for food in the forests at night.

The Park has a colourful history of drawing the community's attention to wildlife issues and conservation, and maintains a tradition of breeding and displaying endangered native animals.

You can explore the park at your leisure, take part in a guided tour or join in with some of the special activities, such as the Aboriginal cultural demonstrations. Let the kids play in 'Nature's Playground' and get hands-on with the animals.
