Sunshine Coast Website - Security
Our Secure Server uses high-grade 128-bit encryption to encrypt your personal information, including booking and credit card details, every time you complete the booking form. This method of encryption takes places when your browser sends data (like your credit card details) back and forth from our server. The data is then scrambled and securely transmitted over the internet. This scrambling of data allows the information to be transmitted securely, without the risk of hackers intercepting your details.
How do you know if SSL Encryption is taking place?
It's easy to tell whether or not a website is using SSL Encryption. For example:
|The URL (Uniform Resource Locator) in the address bar should start with "https:" instead of the normal "http:" for non-secure internet browsing.|
|When SSL Encryption is enabled for a secure website, an icon of a padlock will appear somewhere within the browser window. By clicking this icon, you can determine the details of who owns the secure digital certificate.|
Still not comfortable with sending your details over the internet?
If you do not wish to book over the internet (for personal security reasons), you can contact our Reservations Centre by phone and supply them with your credit card details when you make a booking.
