Sydney Golf Courses

Experience a round of golf at one of Sydney's most picturesque golf courses, the Mona Vale Golf Clib. Set on a parcel of absolute beachfront land, this really is 'where the ocean stops and the game begins'.
The club celebrated its 80th year in 2007 and has grown from a barren parcel of swampland with a tent for a clubhouse into one of Sydney's premier courses. This par 72 course can prove to be very challenging. You line up to tee off and work out your shots, then the wind begins to blow and throw your plans into disarray.
This 18 hole course begins up high on a hill, but you soon find yourself down on flatter land near the beach, before slowly making the climb back up towards the clubhouse from the 10th hole onwards.
The clubhouse features a pro shop to cater for all your needs and also specialises in catering for weddings. Enjoy a delicious meal after a long day out on the green and take in the stunning view over the course towards the ocean.

Located in Kensington, the Australian Golf Club is one of Sydney's most exclusive courses.
First constructed in 1905, the course has undergone dramatic changes in its long history. The current course bears little resemblance to its original and was designed in 1977 by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus. It now features moderated undulations and plenty of water hazards.
This championship par 72 course features 18 challenging holes that will prove difficult for even the most experienced player. The course is only available to members and their guests to enjoy.
The clubhouse features three restaurants to suit any occasion. The carvery is open daily for lunch and serves up light lunches and roasts, while The Australian offers a menu of modern Australian cuisine, accompanied by fine wines and personalised service. For a more casual meal, head to the Nublick Cafe with its tennis courts and barbecue facilities.

The Royal Sydney Golf Club has an impressive history and is the second oldest club in New South Wales, celebrating its 100th birthday in 1993.
Rather than having a single architect, the course has evolved over many years. It has developed and changed, but has remained an 'old-fashioned', traditional course with heavy bunkers and wide fairways. There are no gimmicks, tricks or watery caverns.
The Royal Sydney Golf Club is not just about golf. The club is also home to 20 tennis courts, two squash courts, two croquet lawns and two bowling greens.
The present clubhouse was constructed in 1922 and is elegantly furnished and home to a large collection of fine Australian art. It has status as a pre-eminent social institution and features bars, restaurants, function rooms, bridge rooms, a billiards room, a bottle shop and a reading lounge.
