Sydney Buses

Sydney Buses provide regular bus services between the major interchanges of Sydney CBD, Circular Quay, Central, North Sydney, Lane Cove, Epping, Chatswood, Manly, Northern Beaches, Parramatta, Bondi, Sydney Airport and many others.

Boasting one of the largest and most modern fleets, comprising in excess of 1,900 buses, Sydney Buses service more than 300 routes daily, and also operate the popular Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer tourist services, as part of the Sydney Pass ticket.

Buses can be hailed from the yellow-signed bus stops, and cover routes more widespread than those of the rail system. Several main bus services continue after midnight, when the rail system and the majority of bus services cease.

From the wharves at Circular Quay, ferries provide fast, smooth services to Parramatta, Birkenhead Point, Neutral Bay, Mosman, Manly and Watsons Bay. Even if you don't have a particular destination in mind, a ferry ride is a great opportunity to get out on the water.

Enjoy a ride on the standard ferry, or enjoy a faster pace aboard the Jet Cat, the hydrofoil that travels to Manly.
