CoCA is home to three exciting arts companies: JUTE (Just Us Theatre Ensemble, a professional contemporary theatre company), KickArts Contemporary Arts (a contemporary visual arts company) and End Credits Film Club.

Connecting with other contemporary arts organisations locally, around Australia and overseas, the three arts companies animate an ever-changing program of activities and events. You will have a chance to enjoy contemporary art exhibitions; theatre productions; film screenings; and new media, dance and music festival events.

Through its programs CoCA celebrates contemporary life, cultural diversity and the energy of creative passion. Kuranda Art Galleries
Kuranda Market - Courtesy of Tourism Queensland
Wander the streets of Kuranda. You will encounter an incredible number of little shops and art galleries displaying the work of local potters, painters, photographers, glass and craft workers, and masters in wood, jewellery and fabrics. If you're lucky, you might be able to see their work in progress.

Kuranda is also the place to enjoy the art and culture of the Djabugary, the Aboriginal tribe who, even after more than 40,000 years have not lost their ties to the land.

Just relax and take time to appreciate the tropical lifestyle of Kuranda. Art is in the air!
