Cairns Regional Gallery hosts a vigorous and diverse calendar of exhibitions of fine arts from major Australian and international collections covering historical and contemporary art including the work of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

Visitors to the Gallery can also witness the creativity of local artists living and working in one of Queensland’s most dynamic regional arts communities.

CoCA is home to three exciting arts companies: JUTE (Just Us Theatre Ensemble, a professional contemporary theatre company), KickArts Contemporary Arts (a contemporary visual arts company) and End Credits Film Club.

Connecting with other contemporary arts organisations locally, around Australia and overseas, the three arts companies animate an ever-changing program of activities and events. You will have a chance to enjoy contemporary art exhibitions; theatre productions; film screenings; and new media, dance and music festival events.
