Port Douglas Beaches

>> Beautiful Beaches from Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation

Rex Smeal Park Beach, Port Douglas - Courtesy of Tourism Queensland
Rated among the most spectacular beaches in the world, the beaches from Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation will, for sure, leave you with great memories. Stretching for kilometres with mangrove and rainforest on one side and turquoise water on the other, with hardly a person in sight, these beaches are like paradise on earth.

If you visit during the summer months (November to April), however, you are strongly advised to stay completely out of the water to avoid dangerous jellyfishes. But don't worry; stingers are not going to spoil your trip. Some beaches such as Four Mile Beach have stinger nets that still allow you to swim safely in the crystal clear water.

Besides all the typical enjoyment of the beach, you can also ride horses on the sand, and drink a delicious tropical cocktail at beachfront cafe.
