There are not many golf clubs in the Whitsundays, but the excellent quality of the Turtle Point Golf Course makes up for the number. Proudly voted the number one public access golf course in Queensland - 2007 Australian Golf Course Guide. You can also drive a bit further to Proserpine and play a round on the Proserpine Golf Club.

Turtle Point Golf Course

The 18 hole golf course is a masterpiece by design and astonishing in its condition, boasting natural beauty and prolific wildlife. The championship course, designed by former US Open and US-PGA champion David Graham and partner Garry Panks, offers a true challenge as the 6,399 metre layout meanders through native bushland, lush rainforest and is framed by the Coral Sea lapping at a number of the fairways.

Proserpine Golf Club

The picturesque 18 hole course is nestled amongst cane fields and a variety of trees line the fairways. There is also a small creek running through the back nine holes making it more challenging than the forgiving front nine holes. The Club has a fully licensed bar and a golf shop. It is situated at the corner of Anzac Road and Jupp Street in Proserpine. Travel west along Main Street turning left into Jupp Stree, the course is on the right side of the road. Tennis, Bowl and Swimming facilities are in the area also.
