Every year the Grand Slam heats up when the world's top tennis players go head to head in the Australian Open - The Grand Slam of Asia/Pacific. Witness the likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, Samantha Stosur, Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic in their prime.
Melbourne Park and the the surrounding CBD precinct will come alive with activities and festivities for visitors to indulge in. International and state visitors will be flocking to the vibrant city of Melbourne to be a part of the action.
Rod Laver Arena is scheduled to hold 25 sessions, Hisense Arena will hold 10 sessions, and in addition there will be matches played daily at the Margaret Court Arena.
Transport is easily accessible by train, tram, bus or car.
