I enjoyed my stay at By The Sea for many reasons.The location near the beach and the main area of shopping and restaurants was perfect. The accommodation and caring wonderful staff was a credit to them all and made us feel so much at home there.The apartments were so well equipped and catered for.A perfect holiday .

I loved being so close to the beach and also to the town center. It was also great having so many TV channels to choose from watched a lot of Wimbledon games.

The apartments were in a great location, very near the sea, shopping, restaurants, car hire etc, but not too noisy

Quiet location but close to everything. Modern, clean and lovely apartments. Lovely ladies running the place who went to extremes to answer queries and provide information as to tourism operators restaurants etc.

The owners and staff were all extremely friendly and bent over backwards to be of the utmost help and assistance they could be. Their advice and local knowledge was invaluable.

The best thing was the location so close to beach. Also management was very friendly and helpful.

The apartment was a 2 minute walk from Four Mile Beach and situated in the main street of Port Douglas which was very convenient.

The convenience of the apartment to the beach at Port Douglas was the most striking feature of this complex. From the front of the building to the beach was just 65 paces. No car, no public transport no need for them. And the 'Main' street of Port Douglas, forgive me but its name slips my mind, was just 200 paces away. Shops, bars, especially good restaurants and not expensive, but very, very good. Food was top class. I recommend Port Douglas and the Archipelago Apts. very highly. The apartments were cleaned each day, they were quite, convenient, relaxed and no intrusions by anybody. Very happy with them, and I will return to Port Douglas and the Archipelago Apts. This may sound like a promo for this place, but no - these are truly genuine appreciations.
