Islander Resort Hotel Guest Reviews

There's a general rule, you get what you pay for. The Islander is a very basic hotel, yet provides all the comforts required. Extremely affordable for the central location and clean apartments. All in all, for the price, very nice.

It was clean and very spacious room was serviced daily and the staff were great . Its location was perfect right opposite Cavill Avenue and public transport directly down the street.

Rooms were basic but clean. Good bar attached to the hotel. Undercover parking.

I stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It had plenty of space and would very comfortably accommodated two or even three people. I slept well on the bed, and the kitchen had everything I needed. I had a large balcony overlooking a strip of the sea and the Surfers Paradise high rise's. The space was just fine for no fuss weekender.

I like most of all the friendly customer service from all the staff, when we walked in to check in, during the stay, when helping us buy tickets for the attractions and checking out. Even the room service staff were amazing.

We do not come to Surfers a lot. We attended The Outback Spectacular and decided to stay at the Islander Resort. We already had tickets and the wonderful staff organised transport for us. I cannot drive due to illness and the Islander Resort was a good central location for us . We did the tourist thing from there and enjoyed ourselves.

Great hotel and in a convenient position. Within walking distance to the bus terminal, Cavill Mall, shops, restaurants and entertainment. I would definitely stay there again. Lovely, spacious, clean rooms with wonderful views. I was impressed by the fact that after an all night trip on coach and a very early arrival I was allowed to check into a room straight away. Really appreciative of the service.

The loacation was great, easy access to everything - shops, transport and eateries. The front desk service was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.

I like that it has a good location and good value for money. Very clean and great facilities including kitchen to cook.
