The three bedroom beachfront apartment was very spacious and well stocked, you could not wish for more. The staff were very helpful.

the apartments were excellent, well furnished, great location and excellent facilities.

We enjoyed the location of the apartments and the peace and quiet. It was close to the beach and far enough away from the main centre of port douglas. The apartment was roomy and contained everything we required.

The appartment that we stayed in was a wonderful place for a family with two young adults as well as their parents. We had enough space and luxury to keep us all happy. The kitchen and equipment were well supplied which made breakfasts easy.

We have just returned from ten days at the Mandalay Shalimar and our whole family agrees that it was the best family holiday we have had. The apartment was beautiful and the tropical gardens were really lovely. Our children hired bikes from reception and enjoyed coming and going in this safe environment. The proximity to the beach couldn't have been better.

The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a very comfortable self-catering stay (including a lemon juicer!) The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for my 6 month old daughter.
