Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club Guest Reviews

Our apartment was spacious, well appointed and clean. With two children, we had complete privacy when we wanted, as rooms were divided by the kitchen and lounge area. The landscaped gardens, the two swimming pools and children's playground, as well as mini golf and Fifty nine, meant they we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.

It is not very often that what you see on the internet is what you get. The apartment layout was great and everything was fresh and clean. The kids loved the play area and the outdoor BBQ and eating area is such a great idea. We had such a fantastic time we are thinking of making it an annual event.

The most impressive parts of my stay was the golf course, the purpose of my golf holiday, the overall environment, cleanliness and maintenance care of the property. The staff were all friendly and courteous and exhibited a 'can do' attitude. This made my stay a memorable experience. I have travelled and been in the tourism industry for many years and appreciate good service and the difference it makes to a guests stay.

The rooms were beautifully presented with fine attention to detail. Quality furniture and decor, even down to the potted plants. Beautiful bathrooms with plenty of room and spacious balconies for relaxing at meal times. Tasteful colour schemes and appliances. We ate in most nights because the kitchen was so fantastic! We spent time in the pool each day and found the surrounding garden area to be restful and private. We loved it all!

What I liked most was that the resort was so friendly and well suited to my family. I have two young girls aged 3 and 6 and there was so much for them to do and they were well catered for. I looked forward to the completion of the kids play area which can only enhance our family experience.

The overall value of what we got for the price we paid was stupendous! The rooms were large,the beds comfortable the area was quiet. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, very pleasant/friendly and they knew their stuff. And the great wait staff in the restaurant also gave us travel tips-thanks Vanessa, for the Crystal Cascade hint-the day we took that stroll remains one of the highlights of our month long stay in Australia! On line reservations were quick and easy and we got exactly what we wanted-as we were a group of 4 single friends, 2 from the US and 2 from OZ. The middle "living room" gave us a comfortable place to meet and talk, share stories and laugh. It also afforded our "early bird" a place to sit and read while the rest of us slept in. We made a lot of use of the deck off the living room for our breakfast, multiple cups of tea, post dinner drinks and once we actually made dinner in and ate it there. The kitchen was stocked with all the glasses, dishes, pots, pans and utensils we could ever have needed. We will definitely be recommending the Paradise Palms to anyone going to the Cairns area

Paradise Palms Resort is set in a beautiful pituresque quiet location, not too far out of Cairns and all the beaches close by. On one side of the resort you look out at the untouched hills where there is a relaxing and calming sound of the varous bird wildife calling at different times of the day. The other side of the resort looks out over the colourful gardens and manicured golf course. The units were very comfortable, spacious and clean and still smelled brand new. The beds and furniture were all clean, fresh and comfortable. All the units are very private and at times you would think there was no-one else at the resort.

From the moment we walked in the resort we were impressed.Tropical atmosphere, clean surroundings, beautiful rooms, great facilities and very child friendly. Best of all the staff could not have been more helpful, polite and friendly. I would be very happy to recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you.
