Having younger children it was great to have a ground floor apartment. Pool was great, breakfast included, not too far away from the main drag, given a late check-out, and the staff could not do enough.

Great location...Port Douglas is a beautiful place with so much to do. Port Douglas Sands Resort is located conveniently to Macrossan St, Four Mile Beach and the road that links everything together. Parking and room access is easy and Reception booked all our tours and transport with great efficiency and help. Best of all, the pool was a hit with the kids. Set in a beautiful garden of palms and tropical flowers it looks and feels fantastic. Great place, great holiday!

Tropical feel; great outlook over pool; breakfast room + self serve was excellent; easy access to bus service; close to restaurants.
