San Mateo on Broadbeach Guest Reviews

San Mateo is just one block from Broadbeach, sand and surf- a 2 minute walk ! Close to everything, cafes & restaurants! Great apartment- good value! Apartment managers were very helpful and friendly.

Units at San Mateo offered all we needed. Close to the beach. Walk to Surfers or Broadbeach Mall. Pleasant, smaller complex. Friendly managers.

I liked the convenient location between Broadbeach and Surfers.

The location of the San Mateo is fantastic, only a block back from the gorgeous Broadbeach and only a short distance to the fantastic hub of restaurants, shops and casino. The apartment is excellent. Nice lounge kitchen area with big balcony that has outdoor furniture for entertaining. A second TV in the bedroom with walk through robe and en-suite, laundry with washing machine and dryer. All so convenient which makes your stay so much more enjoyable.

The room was huge and enough room for all my friends and I to relax and have our own space.

The setting of San Mateo is quite in the center of all you needed. very helpful and friendly staff. Apartment tidy and spacious. Will recommend. Close to Broadbeach as well as Surfers Paradise town centers.

We found the apartment extremely well presented, loved the view. A bit out of the way which suited us, would be harder though if you didn't have access to a car. Would stay there again.

This was a great place to stay as the location was near the beach, Broadbeach for nightlife and shops, and Surfers for more shops. The buses to the theme parks were just around the corner and the apartment was nicely furnished and a good size for a family. We would stay again as San Mateo provided everything we needed and the hosts were lovely.

The location was fantastic - one street back from the beach, within walking distance of Jupiters, Pacific Fair and a local mall crammed with restaurants. But it was still quiet at night - you could hear the pounding surf. The room was great - quite luxurious and just as it was pictured on the website. The management was very helpful and friendly and security was excellent.

We loved the fact that San Mateo is only a block away from the beach. The apartment was well appointed having everything you need being self contained. We also had a great view to the ocean making it very relaxing sitting on the balcony. Management were very helpful if the need was there. Broadbeach is a great spot for families. Lots of places for eating out and shopping aplenty. The purpose for our holiday was to go to all the theme parks - which we did! The weather was great and it was nice to get back of a night to relax at San Mateo. I would recommend it for families who like to stay in a quiet location and for those who don't like high-rise complexes. San Mateo was changing management whilst we were staying there and they were lovely,friendly people. I hope that we can go back there in the future.
