Situated in the Fassifern Valley, in the heart of the Scenic Rim in the Shire of Boonah, the cottages are located at Warrill View. Scenic Rim View Cottages are located just one hour's drive west from Brisbane, and one hour twenty minutes from the Gold Coast.
The surrounding area has so much to offer visitors, fishing at Lake Moogerah or Lake Maroon, endless bushwalking tracks through the national parks, tandem skydiving, game of golf at Karana Downs Country Club, gliding or joyflights. Take a picturesque drive and discover the local country towns with all the charm they can bring with their local pubs, produce and numerous craft stores and galleries.
Spend a day visiting the local wineries doted throughout the Scenic Rim. Bring a bottle or two back to the cottage for those romantic moments on the veranda watching the sunset.
If possible join in the fun at the country Boonah and Kalbar shows held yearly. Get amongst it and join in with the locals with so much food and entertainment to be enjoyed by all.
Getting There:
From Brisbane, travel along the Ipswich Motorway. At the end of the motorway, take the Cunningham Highway. Continue along the highway, past the Ipswich motor racing precinct. Travel a further 15 kilometres until you reach Warrill View. Turn right at the only store, and then take the next left which is Old Rosevale Road. Scenic Rim View Cottages are located 3.57 kilometres along this road.
From the Gold Coast, travel north along the Gold Coast - Brisbane Motorway. Take the Logan Motorway exit, and continue onto the Ipswich Motorway.
