Staff were all friendly. We loved the pool areas and the restaurant was really nice. All up we had a great experience with the resort would come back again. Also cleaning staff did a excellent job doing the weekly clean

This was our first time at The Lakes and what stood out most to us was the set out of the pools and the cleanliness of the property, we could always find a nice quiet spot to relax and have a barbie. Thank you also to all the staff members we encountered they were always attentive, efficient and very welcoming. Because of your outstanding service we have been referring all our friends to The Lakes when they visit Cairns. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lakes Cairns. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and beds were really comfortable. I would recommend it to everyone. Car hire is recommended.

Excellent value for money!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms, pools and property were very clean and well maintained. A great base to explore the surrounding areas.

Staff were friendly and helpful and we had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Facilities were excellent! Highly recommended.

We stayed at The Lakes for 9 days and the rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The outdoor area was a favourite, with views over the pool and the amazing colourful garden. The pools - OMG the best I have ever seen, the kids wouldn't come out they were that good. The staff were helpful, polite and very efficient. (Reported the tumble dryer not working and they were there in 5 mins. with a new belt). Good location to use as your base to travel from. 5 minute drive to the city.

Nothing was too much bother. The Lakes is well set out, you could either laze around or go explore places. The restaurant was great, prices suited our budget. Everything was wonderful we hope to be back!

The whole place is just superb, the variety in pools, the location, friendly staff, the size of the apartment was great, we had the "Best" holiday ever. Our 2.5 year old keeps asking if we can go back to the Holiday house!

I thought the accommodation was great value for money especially for families. My children loved the pool area. It was close to all facilities and attractions. I would certainly stay again in the future. We had a wonderful holiday.

The serenity of sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the variety of bird life. We enjoyed the privacy, the variety of swimming pools, especially the spa pool. Having everything you needed on one site - restaurants, day spa, tourist information, car parking and shop - was very helpful and made our trip very enjoyable.
