Location

The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa is nestled amongst lush rainforest and stunning wetlands, just 5 minutes’ drive south of Byron Bay's town centre and 20 minutes’ drive north of Ballina Airport. Tallow Beach is about 10 minutes’ walk away and an 18 hole golf course is located opposite the resort.

Getting There

By Air
Fly from most Australian capital cities to Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta and drive 45 minutes south to Byron Bay. Alternatively, fly to Ballina/Byron airport from Sydney or Melbourne. The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa is approximately 25 minutes north of Ballina/Byron Airport. Rental cars are available at both Gold Coast and Ballina Airports.

By Car
The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa is located approximately 10 hours north of Sydney, 2 hours south of Brisbane, 1 1/2 hours from Surfers Paradise and 45min south of Gold Coast/Coolangatta Airport.

Outdoor parking is available on-site.

From the South:
(Driving time from Ballina is approximately 25 minutes)

• Leaving Ballina, take the Byron Bay turn to the right at the roundabout.
• Follow the coast road through Lennox Head and continue on this road until reaching The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa (77 -97 Broken Head Road), on the right hand side.

From the North:

• Pass Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta, following the signs to Ballina along the Pacific Highway.
• 40 minutes after leaving Coolangatta, watch for signs to Byron Bay.
• Take the left exit on to Ewingsdale Rd and enter the Byron Bay township (6km from highway).
• Cross the railway line and turn right at the main town centre roundabout (at Jonson Street).
• Follow this main street through the town until next roundabout.
• Turn right onto Bangalow Road/Broken Head Road.
• Stay on this road until arriving at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa on the left, 400m south of the Byron Bay Golf Club entrance.
