The place was so clean and fresh and new. Everything that you could need was supplied. Lots of utensils and crockery. Well set out inside with comfortable furniture. And you could close off each room if needed. Information in the room about the local area was especially informative and helpful. The location was fantastic - close to the main street but still quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. The BBQ area by the pool had a separate area supplied with everything needed to create your own BBQ, including paper towels, oil and utensils. Lovely pool. We would go back again anytime.

Very helpful staff, arranged 3 great tours for us which made our important holiday special and one to remember. Very quite ( no children ) perfect location and we had a great room.

5 min walk to every-thing. Restaurants, shops, pubs, Marina, 4 mile beach, all just a short walk. Our apartment at the Meridian was spacious, clean, and quiet. Our balcony overlooking the pool was very pleasant. Pool was great, spa was better! We had a very comfortable, relaxing stay. May I also mention our hosts. very helpful and obliging.Thanks Meridian 4 a great break...

We love Port Douglas and stay quite regularly. This is the second time we've stayed at the Meridian - it's got a nice atmospheric lagoon pool area with room enough for lap swimming. The rooms are very nice and the location (close to the beach and Macrossan St) is perfect. Well priced for what you get.

Loved the jacuzzi in the private courtyard.Comfortable bed and excellent kitchen.Very private and quiet.Washing machine and dryer.Large balcony .We were given a free upgrade to a room with a deck entrance to the pool.Excellent location-one block from the beach and around the corner from the main street and not far from the marina.

Wonderful room with private decking to the stunning pool, felt like a tropical oasis. Great facilities including poolside BBQ, 24 hour pool access and outdoor spa. We had a fabulous time in Port Douglas and found pool-side at the Meridian to be the best place for a relaxing sunbake with a book borrowed from the Merdian's book collection. Excellent location and great advice from Management regarding restaurants to visit in the area and local attractions.
