The Mirage is located at Alexandra Headland on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast. The resort boasts a magnificent coastal frontage of beach, headland and parks extending for kilometres north and south. The beach is patrolled by the Alexandra Headland Surf Club and offers ideal conditions for swimming and surfing. There are many places to sign up for surf lessons and to rent boards. For the skaters and bikers, there is an outdoor skate park right alongside the beach. Also provided are picnic and barbecue facilities.
Set at the heart of the Sunshine Coast, the Mirage is convenient for a myriad of local attractions, including Noosa, Australia Zoo, Underwater World, the Big Pineapple, Fraser Island, the arty hinterland villages of Montville and Maleny, and much more. The bustling beachside town of Mooloolaba is only minutes away, and features a wide variety of fine shops, restaurants and cafes.
The resort is just a 15 minute drive south of Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) Airport, or about one hour drive north of Brisbane International and Domestic Airport.
