My family and I were very impressed with our 2 bedroom apartment at Tradewinds. This apartment was the best accommodation that we stayed in on our family road trip. The apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable, it really felt like we were at home. I slept like a baby for the first time in a week, the beds were perfect. The shower is the first thing that I normally whinge about on holidays but it was extremely clean, hot and I didn't have to chase a few droplets around, I've never felt so relaxed. I was also amazed at the price, this is the best value for money that anyone could ask for. I will be recommending this place to all my family and friends and on my return to Cairns I will definately be back to stay at Tradewinds McLeod and that is a promise !!!

The unit was a brisk walk from, and close to the CBD of Cairns. Yet quiet as it was not on the main Highway. The unit was well laid out and reasonable value for money.

very clean, good size rooms, very comferterble, eazey acess to everything in the complex.

Covienient. Carol, the manager was so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and she was great to be with. no complaints. We enjoyed the appartment.

what i like most was the service from carol and John they were so fantastic and helped with any of our concerns, told us about hot spots to visit and even helped us with hiring a car and ringing the car place for us, we had such a fantastic time because they made it so much better for us. I don't think there is much more that could be changed at Tradewinds we thought it was fantastic all round and for the price we payed for seven nights was just amazing

the staff at reception where great.. very helpful and very hard working to help meet the needs stayed up till late night to help us book trips... great rooms, not a 5 star hotel but everything you need in an apartment.. very highly recommended

It was very quiet and private, handy to shops, the washing machine and dryer were great. Having ausstar was brilliant.

We had a wonderful stay with visitors from overseas who were very impressed with the service given and the friendliness of Carol. She and her husband could not do enough to help us both with things related to the holiday apartments and general tourist inquiries. The apartment we stayed in was clean, tidy and suited all our requirements. Would certainly stay there again.
