By Air
If you are travelling to Airlie Beach by air, Whitsunday Coast Airport at Proserpine and Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island are your closest options. Virgin Blue and Jetstar fly direct to Hamilton Island from Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney, and to both airports from Brisbane.
From Whitsunday Coast Airport, taxis and shuttle services offer direct transfers to Whitsunday Organic Bed and Breakfast. For guests arriving into Hamilton Island, a regular ferry service sails to Shute Harbour on the mainland. From there, Airlie Beach is a 10 minute bus or taxi ride away.
Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Blue and Tiger Airways also fly to Mackay, which is 150 kilometres south of Airlie Beach. A connecting shuttle service runs from Mackay Airport to Airlie Beach (approximately 2 hours). One-way car hire is also available at Mackay Airport.
By Car
As you arrive in Airlie Beach, turn right into Waterson Way. Follow the street signs up Begley Sreet/Lamond Sreet to Whitsunday Organic Bed and Breakfast.
