The Abbey Medieval Festivals offers the public a high energy, colourful and entertaining week long festival.
This festival starts on the 2nd July with the master banquet to temp any knight's tastebuds - a medieval feast complimented with dance, music and theatre.
On Wednesday 6th July, a day dedicated to the kids - Kids Medieval Fun Day, children will be able to participate in a variety of activities and workshops - little masters will love to make their own armour and swords AND learn the Knight's Code of Honour, while the girls can dare to dream, dance like Gympie's and immerse themselves in creative crafts.
On the 9th & 10th of July the whole family will love the 2011 Abbey Medieval Tournament; as a spectator cheer and chant for your champion who will be on show fighting in a sword combat for glory and honour, or simply embrace the vibrant environment, find hidden trinkets at the market stalls and watch colourful dancers.
