About Sydney
The city of Sydney is a lively, pulsing community that encompasses all that is unique to the Australian culture. It's a true city of contrasts - wide sandy beaches, glittering waterways and lush national parks are all within minutes of the city centre.
Explore the metropolis, a heady blend of modern skyscrapers and historic monuments featuring high culture, excellent shopping, daring restaurants and a thriving nightlife. Charter a boat and cruise the harbour, or find your bearings with a visit to the observation deck of the Sydney Tower.
Visit The Rocks, perched on the edge of the harbour, which boasts spectacular views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Take a walk along the harbour foreshore from Rose Bay to Vaucluse, or explore The Royal Botanic Gardens and the Domain, a pleasant respite from the rush of the city.
Head to Circular Quay and enjoy the entertainment provided by the street performers before you take a pleasurable ferry ride to the relaxed beach resort of Manly.
Visit the modern harbourside development of Darling Harbour, Sydney's largest dining, shopping and entertainment centre. Experience the underwater world at Sydney Aquarium, or soak up the atmosphere and live entertainment at Star City Casino.
Sydney is also the ideal base if you plan to explore the wine region of the Hunter Valley, the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains or the wilderness of the Southern Highlands.
The oldest city in Australia, Sydney is also the largest. Its amazing laid back lifestyle draws in hundreds of thousands of tourists every year, as they come to explore what this city has to offer. Explore the surroundings, experience the food and wine and admire the culture. This city has something to please everybody.

Breaking News about Sydney Accommodation
Caribbean Noosa: Peaceful Location, Beautiful Views - We stayed for the second time at the Caribbean Noosa. Loving the veranda with the lovely, peaceful views and with everything in the room we needed. We have no cause to complain about any of it.
Surfers International Apartments: Good Value Apartment - We had a lovely 17th floor apartment with a modern decor and a fantastic view. We were unlucky to have been there during the cyclone but being in Central Surfers with access to malls and easier shopping helped and we certainly made use of the spa and sauna and gym. Our apartment was nice and clean and no noisy neighbours.
Moorings On Cavill: Wonderful Service - The people in charge are very nice and welcoming. The garden is amazing right next to the pool and spa + the sauna. The room was nice and we had lots of space to unwind from big days. There are many things to do not far from the hotel and a short walk to the beach which is nice.
The Regent Apartments: Pleasant location for a family holiday - Regent appartments are very well located - easy walk to the hussle and bustle of downtown but far enough away to avoid noise/crowds etc. Our apartment was extremely comfortable, well finished, and equiped with our every need. Overall, we found it an excellent base for a family holiday.
