After 20 years of handcrafted festivals, this is sure to be one of the biggest and most celebrated Big Day Out event we've seen yet. What better way to experience some of the greats in music than in the buzzing city of Sydney.
It has been the goal of BDO creators to ensure 'alternative' music didn't go by unnoticed, to create a level playing field and ensure local musicians got heard. Year after year we have seen Big Day Out get bigger and better, proudly showcasing the very best in music for thousands of people.

How to get to the Sydney Showgrounds? CityRail has additional services running across the network to help you get there.
Central, Redfern and Strathfield to Olympic Park Station will have a service every 10 minutes from 10am. After the event, again more services are available after midnight to get you home. How easy is that!
