Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival

Stunning Port Douglas will be the host of this energetic event.  The Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival begins on the 11th November; indulge in the pre race festivities with a Pasta Powerup hosted at the Lure Restaurant on the picturesque boardwalk at the Meridien Marina; home to some of Australia's most magnificent super yachts.

On the 12 November 2011 the race begins, chose a category to suit you from the full marathon, to half and the 5km event.  This event encourages all visitors to get involved.  The race will begin at the Port Douglas Esplanade; take in the beautiful landscape of this spectacular region whilst you run at your own pace.

In the evening, the Old Sugar Wharf is hosting the Ultra Festival Celebration Dinner enjoy the company of friends looking over the famous Coral Sea. Be treated to great food and wine and entertainment.
